Skin Needling in Mornington

Skin needling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses fine sterile needles to create tiny controlled channels in the skin. Your skin responds by making new collagen and elastin, so over a course of treatments it looks smoother, firmer and more even. At Allure we use Twist skin needling, tailored to your skin and your goals.

What to expect

Every needling journey starts with a skin consultation, so we know it’s right for you. Numbing cream is essential and must be applied at home one hour before your treatment. Most clients describe the treatment itself as a light prickling. Expect some redness, a bit like mild sunburn, for a day or two afterwards.

Skin needling works best as a course of 6 treatments, spaced one month apart. We’ll map out your plan together at your consultation.

Aftercare

Keep it simple for the first few days: gentle cleanser, no makeup for 24 hours, SPF every day and no strong actives until your skin has settled. You’ll go home with aftercare instructions, and we’ll recommend the right Change Skincare homecare, available online at our Change Skincare online store.
